Mark Anderson, President
Mark Anderson is President, Global Strategy & Business Development, Pearson Education International. Since October 2007 he has also been President, Pearson Language Tests. He first worked for Pearson in the period 1984-1997 in the UK and Hong Kong, latterly running a regional professional publishing & information business. For ten years he worked in consumer goods and technology businesses, before rejoining Pearson in April 2007. He was educated at Cambridge University and received an MBA from Ashridge Business School.

David Booth, Director, Test Development
David Booth joined PLT as Director Test Development in March 2009. Prior to this David worked for 10 years in a number of professional and managerial positions at Cambridge ESOL, a part of Cambridge Assessment. David has extensive academic management, teaching and teacher training experience working for the British Council in South Korea, Hong Kong and Malaysia. David has a Masters Degree in Education, from the Institute of Education, London University, and is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Fraser Cargill, Vice President, University & Government Relations, Asia Pacific 
Fraser Cargill has been Vice-President, Education & Government Relations in the Asia Pacific since September 2007. Prior to that he was Director, Asia Pacific, for Pearson VUE from 2004. Before that, he worked with IDP Education Australia’s Global Examination Services, primarily in the IELTS unit and has been involved in the international education sector since 1990, including seven years in Indonesia where he was also the Australian Honorary Consul to North Sumatra. He has both undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from the UK and an Australian MBA.

Sue Coulthard, Vice President, Marketing
Sue Coulthard joined PLT in 2006 and her team are responsible for the development of marketing materials and activities to promote all PLT products globally. She started her career in the language industry as an English teacher in Spain before moving into Marketing. Prior to joining PLT, she worked for a number of language training providers, marketing study abroad programs worldwide and she also managed the Marketing for a national association of language providers. Sue has a BA Hons degree in Spanish & Latin American Studies, a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Professor Dr. John de Jong, Vice President, Test Development
Professor Dr. John de Jong has been Vice President, Test Development at PLT since 2006. John graduated in General Linguistics, French and English languages from Leiden University and obtained a Ph.D. in Educational Measurement from Twente University. He has published numerous articles and books on language acquisition and assessment and on educational measurement. He has specialized in empirical scaling of language proficiency and promotes the development of internationally standardized reporting scales of language proficiency. He was involved from the start in developing the Common European Framework for Languages.

Helene Duvin, Vice President, Americas Region
Helene Duvin joined Pearson Education in 2005, becoming Vice President, Americas Region for PLT in 2008. Prior to joining Pearson, Helene held a variety of business development and marketing leadership roles at an educational testing company with more than 22 years of experience in the K-12, higher education and global education markets. Helene holds an MBA degree, focused in Marketing, from Rider University and a BA in Psychology from University of Richmond.

Lorna Elliott, Vice President, Finance
Lorna Elliott has been Finance Manager for PLT since February 2008.  She joined Pearson in August 2007, having returned from a year teaching English and then traveling.  Prior to that she worked in Finance in the international charity sector, telecoms and technology and in practice.  She was educated at Oxford and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2001.

David Fulker, Vice President, Technology & Operations
David Fulker has been Vice President, Technology & Operations for PLT since October 2008. Prior to joining the business, David held a senior technical operations role in a technology and multi-media business which had a strong emphasis on service and support. Before that he developed significant experience through building and running technical service operations, business process planning and implementation, project management and building IT infrastructures. His career started in electronics engineering.

Joseph Rospars, Vice President, Business Development, EMEA and India 
Joseph Rospars has been Vice President, Business Development of PLT since 2005. He has been working for the Pearson group since 1995, during which, he held management positions in business development, international sales and country operation for its assessment and testing divisions in Europe, SE Asia and North America. Before joining Pearson, he worked for oil service and information technology companies in several international assignments across the Middle East and South America. He holds an engineering degree from Ecole Superieure d'Electricite in Paris as well as an MBA from the Sorbonne Graduate Business School in Paris. 

Paul Seddon, Director, Information and Learning Technologies
Paul Seddon joined PLT in March 2008 after moving from Cambridge ESOL where he worked as Computer-based testing Programme Manager and various positions within the Projects Office and Assessment division. Paul has a background in English language teaching both in Japan and N.Africa for the British Council and as a teacher and teacher trainer for Bell International in the UK before moving into the field of e-learning and e-assessment. Paul worked on developing the Bell's distance learning software and platforms as well as freelance web development for BBC World and went on to complete a MSc Computer Science and Prince II certification.

Emma Stubbs, Vice President, University Relations, UK & Ireland
Emma Stubbs joined PLT in June 2008. Prior to joining Pearson, Emma was Global IELTS Manager at the British Council in London for four years. Before that Emma held management positions with the British Council in China over a period of six years and was heavily involved in the development of IELTS in the China market. She holds a BA Honours degree in Linguistics and French from the University of York, a postgraduate diploma in Chinese from Durham University and the Advanced Certificate of Marketing Management from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
